The Square D QO230EPD is a new-in-box 30A 2-pole, 120/240V plug-on breaker with 30 mA Class B equipment ground-fault protection. It is intended for fixed heat-tracing and de-icing or snow-melting equipment under NEC articles 426 and 427. This is equipment protection, not personnel protection, so it is not a substitute for a GFCI.
